I’ve been having SUCH a lovely lovely lovely few days that have been much needed.
On Thursday I spent the day playing with bikes and going for a twilight cruiser sesh with my canyon blvd boys and a few hundred other bikes from around the city.
Yesterday I had work and I just absolutely love my job. I’m so thrilled I was hired at Lush, and I have yet to have a day where I’m not stoked to start my shift. Night time rolled around and I had another twilight bike ride with Jason and we rode around my favorite part of Boulder. I can’t get enough of the historical district neighborhood. (I’m weak in the knees for old bungalows with big front porches.)
Today I woke up and went to the Boulder Creek Festival with my best friend, Tu. We are always fabulous together, and I am so glad we got some solid one-on-one time together. We were shameless and ate a free lunch of samples.
It really feels like summer these last few days.
To me, summer isn’t a season. It’s a feeling.
It’s that really big swelling I get in the middle of my chest and I’m so happy I feel like I might burst at the seams.
It’s how I feel when I ride my bike and I look up to see the Big Dipper hanging heavily in the sky.
(( It’s in these moments that I truly feel infinite. ))
